Come join the 2020 Independent Day excursion in Volta




The Ghana Tourism Authority in partnership with Ho Technical University's campus radio, Volta Premier FM is to organize a day excursion in some parts of the Volta region on independent day.

The tour is open to the general public and costs adults Ghc120.00 , and children Ghc100.00 only.
Places to visit are, Keta Lagoon and sea defence site, Kpetoe Kente village, Fort Prinzenstien, Atorkor slave market and Lighthouse in Woe.

The tour is scheduled for Saturday, 7 March 2020, after independent day celebration on Friday, and is themed " Beyond the year of return, tracing our heritage, appreciating our identity "

Ghana is one of Africa's historical country with over hundreds of tourists attraction sites including natural tourist destinations such as, Atewa forest, a large rainforest, Tafi Atome monkey site, Likpe caves, slavery markets, Wli waterfalls, Mountain Afadzato among others.
